Exploring Polymer Clay

Hand Building: Beginning
Human beings have used hand-building techniques for thousands of years to make everything from simple pinch pots to elaborate ritual vessels. Experience the primal act of working with and exploring the possibilities of clay! Create pinch pots or explore slab constructed vessels. Projects are given to develop your skills and personal ideas. Wheel Throwing: Intermediate
This course builds on the foundation of techniques taught in beginning wheel throwing. The focus will be on improving control of the processes and expressing artistic ideas. Wheel throwing demonstrations will include altered, lidded, and/or building construction using throwing elements to form larger objects.
